I most commonly ride the south section of this, access is from the end of Deerwood Dr. It ties into the fire trail around the lake, if you stay on the fire trail headed north you can go all the way around the east side of the lake to HWY 20, or take the single track (my typical ride) to the spillway. Go up the spillway and out the paved road back to redemeyer. Lots of poison oak but great ride
Solid ride on some flowy singletrack, the west side seems to be the best. Leave from the far boat ramp area parking lot to the south and loop back just before the dam.
If you go from the white beach side to the south boat ramp, it's a great single track trail. The back side is more challenging since it's beat up equestrians. Lots of damage to the trail. However, it's still rideable. Just not as nice as the first section.
Currently the trail is very dry and powdery. Watch your lines or you're in the lake.
