Booker T. is currently a beginner-friendly jaunt along the riverside, offering plenty of great views and opportunities for a cool dip in the water. None of the hills are very long or too steep, although there are a few slightly challenging downhills and a couple of rooty sections that may give a complete beginner to the sport pause. The track is nice and narrow, with a few squirrely turns through the tight trees. Still, there is nothing too excessive, and Booker T. Functions as a great little loop for locals not looking to do a crazy amount of climbing or those new to the sport.
SORBA Chattanooga has recently added several miles of new singletrack, but at the time of this writing the state park still has not taken the time to install signage. Until they do, don't expect to be able to find the trail without guidance.
