#15 of 128 mountain bike trails in Illinois
#1,400 in the world

Smooth flowing singletrack with plenty of sustained climbs and descents. A few features scattered through the trails such as wooden & dirt berms, rock armoring, boardwalks, rollers, log rides, and log overs. The North Loop trails pass through a scenic overlook of the Mississippi River Valley and Lock and Dam 14. Large kiosk maps at trailhead and pedestal maps at major trail intersections. Trails are directional and marked with colored blazes/arrows (Pink: M,W,F, Su, Blue: Tu, Th, Sa). New for 2018, trails are open until 10:00pm for night riding. Visit www.qcforc.org for the most up to date trail conditions. Trails dry quickly and usually open 24-48 hrs after significant rain in warmer months.

Camping is available just across highway IL-84. Bikepath through campground connects to four other mountain bike trail systems (Dorrance, Sylvan Island, Stephens Park, Sunderbruch). Drinking water and public restroom located in campground; Portajohn at the trailhead.
