A serene, tree-lined pathway stretches straight ahead, surrounded by lush greenery on both sides. Sunlight filters through the tall trees, casting a soft glow on the asphalt path, creating a peaceful atmosphere ideal for walking or biking. Jacksonville-Baldwin Trail mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking Jacksonville-Baldwin Trail

This is a paved out-and-back multi-use rail-to-trail path. It's flat, long straight sections, and smooth. They also have a dirt path running along side it that may be good for mountain bikes. Quite a few people using it. But very nice ride.

Rode the whole trail today on a MTB (29mi and some change because we checked out the old settlement along the way), obviously not what it's meant for but it's do-able. Scenic, long, straight trail. Came across a free little skate park near the 12mi mark, the MTB was fun on that. Nobody at the skate park. Heard a bunch of gunshots and it smelled like shit in some areas, literally, because of the dairy farm along the way but that's just a brief moment thankfully. Good workout for sure.

This "trail" is a paved road that goes on for 15mi each way. Great for road bikes, no reason to bring your mountain bike here unless you like to erode your nobby tires on pavement. Beware, cars have been known to get broken into. You can just look down the trail and see people coming miles away. Sad.

This is a nice long rail to trail road bike route. It is great for a good workout or just hanging with friends. All paved and flat with nice trees for shade and pretty pictures.

Flat and Straight, and covered by Trees for 25 miles (Nice when the Sun is beating down). Good for a casual ride. Be Ready to hear gunshots in the background!

if the wind is blowing hard from the west use the ride out as a warm-up. Then turn around and time trail back. Very fun! A great place to ride your fixie.

This is a flat trail to get some spin time... Started at one point and rode 15 miles, then returned back for another 15 miles... Rode it with my hard tail and was a good ride to get some spin time, but better trail for rode bikes... Still good spin time ride for MTB...

This 30 mile round trip trail was just what I needed for a post-turkey day ride. Mellow and peaceful ride with friendly walkers, runners, riders, and roller bladers. Path has garbage cans and bathrooms along the way.

Another paved multi use trail. Rode this with the family and had a good time. this is a good place to bring the road bike or just to get some cardio in. The further away from jacksonville you get the better the scenery gets. Nice ride

The trail is actually 14.5 miles long and is a great spot for road biking, not so much mt biking
