Mountain Biking Northbank Trail
#31 of 300 mountain bike trails in Virginia
New Trail as oF Spring of 2005. Used in Xterra Eat Championship race. Nice singeltrack, some difficult climbs and technical turns, a few roots and rocks, generally very fast. Lots of great views of the river, interesting artifacts found in woods along trail. Trail ends (or begins) in the parking lot for the North Bank section of the James River Park System. Stay tuned for this trail to be elongated to hook up with the Nickle bridge, creating an effective loop using consisting of Buttermilk, forest Hill, Belle Isle and Northbank.
