Mountain Biking Back Yard Trails
#36 of 549 mountain bike trails in North Carolina
These are two area for the trails. The first is about 3-4 miles. Follow the arrows. At the end of the trail depending on which way you go, you will end up at Tyvola. You can cross Tyvola and after will be on Farmbrook. Cross the road and your first left into a deadend you will see the trails behind a house. This is the second part and longer of the trails about 6 or 7 miles. Not to many people know about the trails. Don't even try to ride a day after rain. I was sliding and slipping all over the place. This is a hard course.

This is a hidden secret in Charlotte. The Tarheel Trailblazzers give some info but did not develop the trail. I heard about this trail from some neighbors who know of a bike fanatic who put this together. I think they said the guy was a Rode-biker? The best way to get to these trails is off Senceca Rd. That is from South-Blvd or Park-Rd. From Park-rd make a left on Wedgewood. After that turn make another left before the church which is Wedgewood Baptist. If you cross Tyvola you have gone to far. Of course if you want to park your car use Pine-wood school up the street. From S-Blvd make a right and park at the school. You enter from a circle that is a dead-end.
