#52 of 108 mountain bike trails in Kentucky
#6,439 in the world

Trail is not 100% complete at this time. A lot of network. Single track, 6 foot wide dirt and gravel areas. A small bit of sand and loose gravel here and there. Good climbing and some fast descents. Fun Trail still in progress.

Fun singletrack in a variety of settings. Much has been added since the description (13 miles total ?) Some climbs excessively steep but most areas well laid out. Twisty in many spots and wide open, swoopy fun in others. Overall a good place to ride.

I'm new to MTB after leg issues prevent running. So I'm learning and LCTS has been my go to spot to figure out how to do it. The gravel trail is a little short of 6 miles, and countless miles of single track wind over the whole system. It's quite hilly, but not unmanageable. The gravel trail is beautifully sculpted and wide, but in two loops that converge near the center where the path can be confusing where they come together, so use an app or get a map. You can get maps at Wood N Wave bike shop in Grand Rivers, they are great to work with, excellent service, and the dog (Apollo) is awesome.
