Mountain Biking Fernandez Ranch loop
#649 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
This is the main connector trail that runs up the middle of Fernandez Ranch. Slight slope for the most part, then towards the end it gets very steep. If you brave the steep slope you are rewarded with the Woodrat trail at the top

This trail head can only be accessed from the Highway 4 east bound side. If you are coming from Martinez on 4 you will have to make a U-turn. The sign for the trail head is just passed the Golf Course on the right. Turn down the road and watch for the Fernandez Ranch sign on the right about .5 miles down.
