Mountain Biking Stone Soup
#321 of 387 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
Stone Soup is one of the most challenging trails at Nine Mile. As you wind through red pine and mixed hardwood forest, many rock (many of the "rocks" are much bigger than regular rocks, though) gardens are thrown at you. The sheer amount of stones is so large that there is little actually flow, making it hard to stitch the features together smoothly. Furthermore, the lack of downhill momentum doesn't help either. Basically, this is a little slice of heaven for those who love low-speed rock gardens with no obvious way to clear them.
