Mountain Biking La Crosse River State Trail
#304 of 387 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
La Crosse River State Trail follows the river as it slowly tumbles to the Mississippi from Sparta to La Crosse. For almost the entire journey, an active rail line accompanies you. However, that won't detract from the patches of beautiful wetland, prairie, and farmland along the way. This trail is great for an easy-going, downhill ride to get the whole family involved. At its eastern terminus, it connects to the Elroy-Sparta State Trail encase you still want more.
