Mountain Biking Sentiero 61
#21 of 105 mountain bike trails in Italy
The climb is an easy singletrack pedal up the hill. The descent is the steepest and most challenging track around. Few people ride it, so it is covered in leaves, rocks, and branches. There are several sweet jumps and some solid chutes to test your nerves on, but all of it is decidedly "scrappy".

Start by climbing Sentiero 26, from the main piazza in San Mauro, TO
It is clear that this was a well built DH track, but now the upper section has a great deal of water damage. The berms are gone, and the fall lines are largely rutted out. If you like technical and steep tracks with tricky off-camber turns, this is a good one. It is a fantastic spot to practice some of the harder elements of enduro racing. The second half is well maintained, and the jumplines are good fun.
