Beautiful ride that's longer than advertised, around 10 miles to town. I rode from the lakes to Telluride. Most of the ride before the ski resort is on forest roads. Then you'll hit singletrack and have several ways to get to town. About 14 years since I rode this. Spend some time by the lakes as it is a beautiful area.
