Mountain Biking Yellow Jacket Loop
#222 of 306 mountain bike trails in Oregon
Climb along the east leg of Yellow Jacket Loop Trail from Hemlock Lake Campground to Dead Cow Lake. Ride west along the ridgeline between the drainages of North and South Umpqua. Turn north and take the west leg of Yellow Jacket Loop back to the meadow just outside of Hemlock Lake. Turn and head downhill along the Hemlock Creek Trail where you will pass numerous waterfalls.
The trail can ridden as a loop by parking at Lake in the Woods and riding up the road to Hemlock Lake but that adds a great deal of less than enjoyable climbing
