Mountain Biking Yellow, Blue, Brown

****   Add a review
#10 of 19 mountain bike trails in Rhode Island
#7,325 in the world

Yellow Trail is the longest trail in Weetamoo Woods. All the other main trails connect with it. It begins as an unpaved doubletrack on both ends, but switches to singletrack for more than half its length in the middle.

There is a small parking lot at the trailhead on East Road. Bring your bug spray because even in the driest of seasons, the mosquitos are nasty. At the center of Weetamoo Woods lies Cedar Swamp.

Yellow Trail is relatively smooth and flat. There are a few rocky and/or bumpy sections with roots. Close to where Yellow Trail intersects with Green Trail lies a smooth 40' long bridge. Access can be a bit difficult for beginning riders as both ends begin with a rocky lead up.
