Mountain Biking Balmoral Trail
#64 of 1,379 mountain bike trails in British Columbia
This is an out and back over a big hill. When you reach the top you can choose to turn around and come back down or go down the other side towards White Lake. You could have a vehicle parked at both ends if you don't want to climb the hill twice. We have heard the Balmoral Road side is the best downhill.

Highway 1, west of Salmon Arm, near Blind Bay. There is an awesome cafe called Sprockets on one side of the highway (highly recommended by us).It is attached to a Motorcycle Museum. On the opposite side of the highway is the Balmoral Road. Follow it for about a mile or so. The trailhead parking lot comes up suddenly on the right hand side.
Great switchbacks up and hell of a lot of fun down. We had only done the climb up to the top and then came down. If you have a lot of time or a second vehicle you can actually go over the other side. Then climb back over if you have only one vehicle.
