#370 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
#31,755 in the world

Head south on Grand Avenue 2 miles from Visitors center to Dungeness, a 60 room mansion from the gilded age. Originally owned by Andrew Carnegie, but burned in 1959. Explore. Once done, retrace north, past visitors center approx. 6 miles to Stafford Plantation, another Carnegie mansion, circa 1901. This is private so please respect. Continue north 4 miles to Plum orchard, another Carnegie mansion, circa 1906. Again, continue north 3 miles to "The Settlement" where John Kennedy and Carolyn Bessette were married in 1996. Retrace Grand Avenue south to The Visitors Center. Water is available only at the Visitors center and from an artisian well at Plum Orchard. Safe, but taste like sulfur. Beach bike rentals are available. Camping at nearby Sea Camp with reservations or- Lodging is available @ Greyfield Inn. $$$$
