A scenic view of a field at dusk, featuring tall, golden grass and scattered trees silhouetted against a colorful sky with clouds in shades of blue, pink, and gray. The horizon glows softly as the sun sets, creating a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Deer Creek Hills: Southeast Loop mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking Deer Creek Hills: Southeast Loop

  Add a review
#805 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
#17,988 in the world

Deer Creek Hills is a Sacramento Valley Conservancy property that, in conjunction with FATRAC, is open June-October every Monday night for mountain biking. Guided rides are also available on the last Saturday of each month in the summer.

The area is comprised of a maze of social/cow trails that are combined into "courses" using cones. The course changes every week. This is a unique place to ride and a great example of a collaboration between an IMBA chapter and a land conservancy group.
