A grassy pathway surrounded by tall vegetation, featuring two whimsical cutout elephants—one gray and one pink—playfully positioned alongside the trail. Araheke Mountain Bike Park mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking Araheke Mountain Bike Park

**   Add a review
#110 of 171 mountain bike trails in North Island
#15,098 in the world

There are 9km of easy and intermediate trails in the Araheke Mountain Bike Park. They are in two adjoining areas, one beside Lake Wiritoa and the other about 300 metres further down the road and an access track towards Lake Pauri.

The park is very visitor friendly with lots of signs, colour coded loops and so on. It's great for kids and beginning mountain bikers. The soil is sandy and drains immediately after rain.
There are toilets and a swimming area. Hikers and dog walkers also use the tracks.

Good little mountain bike park for kids and beginners. Nice lake for a swim too. Great area for a summer picnic and bike ride
