Glouster Trails at Rowan College used to be called Glouster County College Trails and are home to the popular South Jersey Mountain bike race called the Summer Sizzler and which is part of the Mid-atlantic Super Series. This is the third time we've ridden here. You can think of this trail system as two sided. To the left are short punchy climbs and descents. To the right is more of a meandering twisty rooty sandy singletrack with some log overs. These trails are rated Intermediate, and we'd agree with that rating for this region. There used to be a cool feature see-saw to ride over, but they removed it. There is one huge jump on the left side of the park down the one descent. You won't see us riding that though. It's a pretty big send. The network is short, but it's a good place for a short ride, and it's a great place to run a cross country mountain bike race!
Raced here for the Summer Sizzler and boy did race day live up to its name with temps around 100 degrees with NJ humidity. This trail system is very similar to Camden County trails, i.e. flat, XC-oriented with good flow packed into a small area. There are a few obstacles sprinkled about but it's very beginner friendly and drains well. Good course to practice interval training.
