Mountain Biking Rhododendron Ridge Trail
#246 of 306 mountain bike trails in Oregon
The trail has many fallen trees to climb over, and leg-scratching overgrowth, some of which is shoulder-high. Parts of the trail are little more than stream beds, washed out with large, loose rock and roots which requires some hike-a-bike. If you can look beyond this, this unfrequented trail offers solitude, quietude and beauty. If the forest service spruced up some of the sections, this would be an awesome ride. I'm not fully into driving two hours to ride and end up carrying my bike over my head for a few miles of a 13-mile ride.
