Trail begins just south of eastern most parking lot in Yankton Trail Park.
Great place for some beginner laps or time trial practice on strava. Mostly one way traffic. A few of the cut out stumps and obstacles from east to west on the loop would be unsuitable for non-mtbs to just ride over. Also a great warm up ride for tuthill with the bike trail singletrack breakouts that exist around the Yankton trails stretch.
Thank |It was sad scenic to see how much it was destroyed by tornadoes and flooding. I placed one star, not because it's bad job, just how it looks caused by mother's nature.
Thank |Trailhead is at east end of Yankton Trail Park, by the small parking lot. Trail well marked by FAST group, mostly one-way, some 2 way. Mostly level, a fey small dips, close trees. Easy access to and from the paved trail.
Thank |December 10th, still snow packed trails, but melting.
Nice little trail!
Fun trail for beginners and those looking for a quick fix. All flat, no climbs. Some technical features have been added like rocks, a small jump and log bridge. I like to put in 4 or 5 laps which lets you practice at picking the fastest lines through trail features. Makes for a fun and fast ride after work. Watch out for pedestrians as many people using the park like to take their time walking the trail.
Thank |Good easy single and doubletrack.
Thank |Good beginner level singletrack that I use on my commute to work. Great for kids and those new to trail riding.
