Heading out you climb for a little while. There are two stream crossings early on with bridges but the bridges are raised a foot off the ground. You may have to lift your bike up onto the bridge unless you can bunny hop that high. Once at the peak you have a nice, pretty fast downhill ending at the South Pacolet River. There a several spots that are extremely steep and have man made stairs set in place. Turn around at the river and the climb back is pretty grueling. You will have to carry your bike back up the stairs several times. Once back to the top, there is a good downhill back to the parking lot. It is mostly doubletrack with singletrack in spots. Not sure if the tough climbs are worth the descents. You decide. The river at the end is nice though.
Scenic Trail. Out and back trail that ends at the South Pacolet River. Trail peaks at the top close to the middle. So you have 2 steep climbs and 2 nice downhills. You decide if the downhills are worth the climbing. I will probably go back, but not too often. You have to carry your bike a handful of times. Very peaceful track though. No one else there when I rode.
