Three mountain bikes are leaning against a fallen log near a stream in a lush green forest. The sunlight filters through the trees, illuminating the vibrant grass and the clear water of the stream. A dirt path winds through the scene, surrounded by tall pine trees and a serene, natural setting. East Fork mountain bike trail.

Mountain Biking East Fork

*****   Add a review
#92 of 283 mountain bike trails in New Mexico
#6,055 in the world

This is an out and back trail. Round trip is 13 miles. You can park a vehicle at far end of this trail (near the area where everyone rock climbs). But you will miss the super fun down hill you climbed up.

Getting there
Park at the falls campground area and head north upstream on the single track that crosses over the river via a wooden bridge. This trail will climb for about 6 miles. Once you peak the highest point of the climb the trail will descend quickly to the river. The trail then follows the rivers edge over multiple wooden bridges.
