Nice large area of city trails. Mix of singletrack, wide double track and paved trails. Some trails drop straight down the fall line and are quite fast. Good views of Calgary and the Rockies.
Nice resource for the residents of Calgary.

In town bike trails with easy access, free parking, vault toilets are seasonal however one washroom is open year round though. Great place for anpre work ride and VERY popular for after work rides. You are sharing the trails with trail runners, hikers, and walkers.

Nose Hill is a great location in the city to get ready for biking season. There are a number of gravel paths for beginners and singletrack at a beginner/intermediate level that can be connected together using the gravel and paved paths. The city is closing some of the trails (mostly on the slopes going up to the plateau area and in the gullies) in an effort to sustain an environment for ground-nesting birds, coyotes and other wildlife and flora on Nose Hill.
Great views of the mountains on clear days.
    Be prepared for cold winds.

Amazing Ride here in January. Get's quite windy at the top of nosehill, so keep a wind jacket in mind. Beautiful views of the rocky mountain range on one side and the Calgary sky scrapers on the other.

This is rated so high for the views and the amount of trails that there are here. On our first two attempts we found easy uphills and downhills with lots of single track and wider trails.
