Mountain Biking Manawatu River Track
#104 of 171 mountain bike trails in North Island
The whole family will enjoy this ride beside the impressive Manawatu River. The track is wide and flat with easy corners and a hard surface. It's a twenty kilometre round trip, and there are diversions you can take along the way such as Fitzherbert Park just south of the bridge.
Just past the Maxwells Line end of the track there is a MTB jump park and there are small jumps and dips near Te Matai Road.
The track is popular with local bikers, dog walkers, runners and strollers. It is also know as the Bridle Track.
