Mountain Biking Mervent Forest
#22 of 57 mountain bike trails in France
The Mervent Forest is riddled with dozens of trails and they are all ride-able. There are a couple of trails with signs you can follow but don't worry too much if you get lost - just keep riding - you'll soon come to the Vendee River or the edge of the forest or even a village with a nice cafe.
The trails are not technical so you won't find berms, rollers or jumps but you will traverse some very pleasant forest.
There are several roads through the forest that you'll cross from time to time, and there are lots of signs. You'll have no trouble finding your way home.
