Mountain Biking Black Dragon Trail
#320 of 709 mountain bike trails in Utah
The trail is only 5 miles long but jumps from 6500 ft in elevation at the bottom trail head to 7600 ft at the top. It is a shared trail with ATVs. From the bottom the first mile of trail is a hard climb up out of the canyon over big solid rocks with loose rocks all over. One you pass that first mile the trail is quite mild and crosses the meadows and washes as you climb up out of the sandstone formation into the limestone of the high alpine area above. Riding down is the payoff and it is fast! AT the tops the trail is very flawy and has some good opportunity for jumps along the way and is technically mild until you begin dropping back into Ferron Canyon.

From the entrance of Millsite State Park turn west on Canyon Road. Drive 4.9 miles up the canyon and there will be a small campsite and the trail head on the right side of the road just off the creek.
