Mountain Biking Goat Farm
#6 of 61 mountain bike trails in Western Australia
The Goat Farm is a designated mountain bike park, catering for all kinds of disciplines and skill levels. There are a couple of proper (though short) downhill tracks, cross country trails, a skills park and even a 4X track too.
The views of Perth are a winner, but there's precious little shade, so evenings or mornings are the best option should you be riding there in the hotter months.
It's within easy ride of Midland train station too, should you not want to drive there.

The Goat Farm lies to the east of Perth, just off the Great Eastern Hwy (94). As the road begins to climb out of Greenmount, you'll cross over Scotts Rd. Greenmount Rise is the next turn-off to the right. At the end of Greenmount Rise, you'll find the well signed entrance to the parking area.
The entrance to the trails is clear and you'll find a map on hand at the trailhead should you need some help navigating the park,

One of the few DH-oriented areas near Perth.
Thank |Not really my cup of tea, but reasonable variety of trails on offer in a location that is close to the city.
