Mountain Biking Flat Rock Lower Loop

Don't let the "lower" fool you. Lower loop is near as hi as Upper, longer, ruffer, and more climbing, if you do the whole thing. It lets you believe that this time it's taking you back to the trail head before another climb near as high as the last. 4 big climbs, Pipeline being the biggest. When you finally do head back down to the parking lot there're a few nice drops, just to keep it from being a milk run. Mostly ridable by all but beginners there are a few areas where all be real experts will hike a bike. enjoy!

The trail is well maintained with decent length. Had a camping trip with friends and rode on the lower trail the first day. It's smooth ride. I'd have stayed on this trail the next day if I had known the upper trail was very rocky and steep.

Enjoyed the trails, great for intermediate and advanced, great workout, fast sections, enjoyed the 2.5 hour loop. Great people there.

Rode the Lower Loop this week-what great fun!! Jimmy the ranch owner was very cool and helpful. Some of the best singletrack I've ridden in Texas. Can't wait to get back out there and ride the Upper Loop

Just a lot of good trail, with technical features thrown in. Many are non optional. Lots of drops, most role ok, some of the climbing had me pushing. Excelent work out. I did it after Upper, so it was a bit much of a good thing.
