I found the Mondragon Canyon Trail #660 on a map while trying to figure out a way to get back to my camp after shuttling the 1st part of South Boundary Trail 164 (I had ridden the Garcia Park-Taos portion the day before). It could be accessed from SBT, and according to the map, after about 8 miles of descending, would drop me out on Hwy 64, about 2.5 miles from my camp... sounding great in theory. 660, for the most part, proved to be a fun, mostly DH run, save for maybe a mile of climbing. It has seen little or no use in recent years, in fact a small portion of it didn't even exist! Thanks to some determination and adventurous spirit, I did finally rejoin the rest of the trail. This trail has a LOT of potential as a shuttleable downhill run; maybe posting this review and video will give it the exposure needed to move it in that direction...
Also, there is a connector that spurs off to FR437 (see my missed turn in the video) that makes for a fast DH run that can be quickly shuttled via 437.
