Mountain Biking Bongsan
#4 of 18 mountain bike trails in South Korea
A network of trails with good gradient and a little bit technical. The best part of this trail system is that it involves only a few sections that you need to get off your bike and start hiking. The environment is well forested with defined trails. It has surprisingly good flow and is kind of a maze that's worth exploring for a complete afternoon ride close to the city.

The trail starts right next to the Goyang welcome sign. There's a parking area for an outdoor roasted chicken restaurant that is right next to the trailhead. I would suggest starting there and hiking up the two sets of stairs with your bike before branching off to the right at the base of the third flight of stairs. Then you get into that bowl network off the left slope that's all great for mountain biking.
