Description by "Guest":
Klondike Bluffs is a relatively easy ride, for the Moab area! It starts out on a dirt that is rather non-descript. After fighting through a couple of sand traps, the climb goes up a draw filled with juniper pines and becomes a little more rocky and technical. About 4 miles into the ride you come to a long slickrock ramp, not the smooth red sandstone of the Slickrock Bike Trail fame, but white Entrada sandstone that is just looking to catch your front tire! This part of the ride is highlighted by the dinosaur track heading up the slickrock ramp. Look for them on the far left side. Beyond the slickrock ramp, you have one more tough hill to climb. This is the boundary for Arches National Park. Stash your bike and hike the 1/2 mile out to Klondike Bluffs, it is well worth the effort!!
Definitely not even close to the best 4x4 ride in Moab.
