Mountain Biking Hopewell Park

Hopewell Park Trails is a multi-use recreation area located in Danville

PA. Parking is directly across the road from Sheetz. There are 3 main

loops for this trail which was officially opened to the public on Sept 6

2014 as part of the River Towns Cycling Classic. Built by roughly 10

volunteers, these were built in less than 1 month for the Hopewell

Mountain Bike Challenge. These trails are super flowly, moderately

hilly, some downhill, banked turns, and start out on an old railroad bed.

The trails are open for day and night time riding. Please be advised

that hunting is allowed on these grounds so they are closed on Saturdays

from the last Saturday in April through the last Saturday in May and

again on Saturday's from the last Saturday in September through the

second Saturday in December.
