Mountain Biking Big Bend (Trail #126)

****   Add a review
#54 of 219 mountain bike trails in Alberta
#7,086 in the world

You take the trail that goes down the hill and crosses the bridge. There will be a sign, after you cross the bridge and go up the rock portion. This trail is consider a moderate ride with a little bit of everything. There are bridges, rocks, roots as well as easily ridden portions along the way while going up and down a number of hills. The reward at eh end of this ride is the great view at the Big Bend campground. If you are planning an over nighter the campground has a great setup.

Ha ha ha ha ha... a girlfriend told me this was a fairly flat ride, that it would be easy! A good trail to start biking an injured Achilles Tendon. NOPE but it is so beautiful and we will go back in the spring or summer to try it again. There are a lot of "little" climbs and there are roots and rocks. You will also probably see hikers.
