The trail runs along the Meramec River and ends at private property on the opposite side of a power line cut. Smooth dirt trail with a "half pipe" style drain crossing. On Flamm City Access and Teszars Woods Conservation Area, MDC rules apply. Easy trail with views of the river. Subject to periodic flooding.

In Arnold,.off Telegraph Road (Hwy 231) right before the Meramec River bridge crosses into Oakville, is the turn off for the Flamm City boat dock. The trail leaves the parking lot on the far side near the river.
The trail is hard to find, but once you find, its a fast ride, mostly flat, couple creek crossings. The trail ends at Wicks Station Rd. At one time you could cross the tracks at Wicks Station road and pick up another trail that continued all the way to Historic Kimmswick. But new property owners have put an end to that. There is no maintenance, so down trees and high weeds, when not flooded. This also connects to the Teszars Woods Conservation.
| ThankSpent some time looking for this trail and never could find it there are signs up saying no trespassing, fences, etc.I was looking forward to this ride as it would be the closest trail to me I even followed the directions of the previous reviewer with no luck, drove on up to cliff cave instead and had a great time.
| ThankFound the trail this time. I was looking in the wrong place before. This trail is more of a social path for dog walkers than a mountain bike trail. It is difficult to follow and there is no maintenance taking place so numerous downed trees block the way. Less than a mile in I came to a power line cut and on the other side were clear signs of private property. I returned to the lot and looked for any other route in the vicinity with no luck. I can't recommend this trail at all for riding.
| ThankI was visiting St. Louis and wanted to check out this trail. I was able to easily find the parking lot at the boat ramp. I couldn't determine where the trail left the lot however. The river was up and backed into a creek that borders the lot so it was difficult to see whether a trail was present or not. Perhaps when the water recedes it will be obvious.
