Mountain Biking Narrow Gauge Trail
#514 of 1,383 mountain bike trails in Colorado
The Narrow Gauge Trail is located on the sight of an old railroad that ran from 1880-1926. Most of this route is closed to motorized vehicles, making it an extremely scenic, yet beginner-friendly, mountain bike ride.
The old railroad grade traverses the side of the mountain, offering gorgeous views of Mount Princeton and the Chalk Cliffs on the opposite side of the valley. Most of trail tread is gravely, and the trail is doubletrack-wide in most places, with a couple of sections that narrows to singletrack.
