A young person in a helmet and blue shirt stands by a body of water, taking a drink from a water bottle. A mountain bike lies on the ground nearby, as trees and greenery frame the serene lakeside scene. The sky is partly cloudy, hinting at a warm day. Kincaid Lake mountain bike trail.

#21 of 51 mountain bike trails in Louisiana

Network of singletrack trails with a variety of difficulty and endurance. this is a beginner trail that has some elevation and more straight forward. Not very technical. There is camp grounds near here with a bike wash. This trail connect to the Lakeshore and Wild Azalea trails, which can be combined to create a longer ride.

Pretty good beginner trail, that gets more fun as you keep up speed. I think the best way to ride is clockwise from the main trail head, which starts off with a fun drop in but means you have to climb a little to end the ride. This trail can hold water more than Lakeshore, so keep in mind if it has been raining heavily leading up to your ride. Also, recommend taking caution on miles 5-8 in the low lying areas, so of the mud/water crossings are much deeper than you might assume. There is a "bike wash", camp ground with full bathrooms and a swimming area that is open in the summer months. There isn't a charge if you are only biking.

Fast when dry. Great combination of speed and technical, more technical towards mile 6-9
