Mountain Biking Cloverpatch
#98 of 306 mountain bike trails in Oregon
Cloverpatch is a great addition to Tire Mountain and the Alpine Trail, and is a bomber descent off the ridge back down to the river below. The trail is super flowy and fun, but be sure to stop and take in the views, as this trail boasts some of the best views in the Oakridge Valley.

Awesome extension to Tire Mountain and Alpine Trail if you have the fitness to do the extra miles. The climbing portion was routed very well to make the long climb far more bearable than it would seem. All intersections with the forest service road where well marked so I was never worried about missing a turn or losing the trail. If you're out here during the summer months bring plenty of water as it was hot out there.
Thank |I thought Cloverpatch had a huge fun factor but also some climbing to give you a decent workout. If you're not used to Oregon riding, the surroundings and scenery are crazy good. As fun as this trail is, it doesn't compare to Alpine or Tire Mtn which you ride before linking into Cloverpatch. Now that you can link back up with lower Alpine, this trail became that much better. My advice is take a map, a GPS or somebody who knows the trails because the signage in this part of Oregon is the worst I've seen anywhere.... meaning there is none or it's VERY limited.
