Mountain Biking Low Hollow

****   Add a review
#17 of 108 mountain bike trails in Kentucky
#1,987 in the world

The trail is a loop. It can be ridden either direction. It's not a large area but alot of trail for the size. It can be fast and flowy. One area has several creek crossings. Another goes along the river. Once you know the trail you can ride it very fast. There is also one technical section. Look out for oncoming traffic.

Like everyone has already said, nice trail in the middle of town. It makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere at times. Fast lines, a few small drops, with some punchy climbs is a small 3 mile package. If I am in the area I will definitely come back. There were some odd characters in the parking lot but nothing happened to my vehicle while I did two laps.

How can you beat singletrack in the middle of a bustling town of about 60K. I can leave work and be there in 10 mins and get a couple loops in at lunch. Low Hollow has a little bit of everything... punchy small climbs, a little bit of tech, multiple bypass lines, small jumps. Very blessed to have this and thanks to the local MTB for providing it. Eventually we could use better lighting and facilities but the local riff-raff needs to be ran off before that happens... only way for that to happen is if more decent folks come and use the park more often. Please note, NICA teams practice here during the week during summer and fall so plan accordingly... there'll be a lot of riders on the trail.

Really fun trail. Nice to have right here in town. A few fun challenges- some teeter totters and little bridges. We are beginners but didn't find it too hard or scary. There were 2 hills we couldn't quite manage.

This is a short, fun trail. The left side is a nice, easy cruise along the river and the right side is more technical with some nice climbs, dry creek crossings and a few rocky sections.

My only complaint is it is shared with joggers who run the opposite direction and they always seem to appear in a turn after a downhill section when you can't see them.

An amazing track, and you don't have to drive over an hour away to have a great ride. It's in Bowling Green, and has some great up hills; as well as, down hill. Beautiful nature reviews as well as some technical riding involved. What a blast.

Well maintained hard packed trail. Not much on elevation change or technical difficulty. A few rooty sections. Trail is very short.

It's short fun trail. Good for beginners but enough tech to keep it fun also.

Fun and fast but very short. Great view of the river but something fishy in the parking lot. Like George Michael fishy...
