There are several access points and parking lots along the trail. A good starting point is the parking lot on the way to John F. Spalding Recreation Area boat ramp. Turn into The Landing off of Route J and proceed through this resort area until you meet Oakland Road. Veer right a little way down Oakland Rd. toward the boat ramp. You will see the trailhead parking lot immediately on the left.
