An abandoned wooden structure with a weathered roof is partially hidden among lush green vegetation and trees. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting soft shadows on the ground covered with dry leaves and low shrubs. Blue Springs State Park mountain bike trail.

A beginner trail for the area. Singletrack is relatively slow and twisty, but not difficult. They are all two-way singletrack trails and connected to each other. During the summertime the trail becomes very insect infested and you should prepare yourself for that.

**CHIGGER WARNING!** As noted before, a lot of what was here is closed due to timbering, so it's now an out-and-back as far as I could tell. Nice beginner trail...except for the chiggers. :(

The Park has done massive clearing to the area which has wiped out a lot of the trail so it's pretty much closed down for now.

Trail has potential, but has not been maintained. Fallen trees every hundred yards and many shrubs/branches that cut up your legs and get stuck in your wheels. Largely overgrown. Really a pity, this could be a fun trail, especially the back part

Used to live close to this trail system but only rode it once. Trails are flat, super bumpy or sugar sand and infested with ticks. Might be better now if they have been maintained but still not worth a long drive.

Rode two days ago, found tick dug in my right thigh today. Protect yourselves when riding this trail. Great improvement on trail, congrats to crew working there. Beginners ride.

Happy to say now the local SORBA/IMBA chapter, Flagler Area Biking has organized a maintenance team and the trails are now trimmed and riding well. Some trails being reworked to improve flow and now getting more riders which is packing the tread making the trail faster with every passing wheel. Trail drains very well and doesn't seem to be affected to much by heavy rain.

Trails now maintained weekly and more trails to be added soon.

I enjoyed the ride very much.
Great for beginner and intermediate riders.

Trail is over grown and has tons of large spiders. Also every time I stoped to kick a spider off me I found about half a dozen ticks to pick off too. All around terrible experience. I picked at least 40 ticks off myself and was only out there for about 30 mins.

Overgrown, sandy, flat, boring, not free, waste of time, spider webs everywhere. Don't go, stay at home, unless you want to beat your bike up and get hit in the face with a million spider webs.

I came to this trail when it first opened and it looked promising. Definitely a beginner trail through the scrub but is really beautiful in many sections. Not too much flat stuff but easy grades for the most part. The mild hills make it more interesting. What is sad is this trail has gone downhill rapidly. Growing-in badly in some sections. Its just not being maintained. I hit a lot of brush, palms, branches, etc. Growth in middle of trail shows its just not being used much or kept up. Many of the signs need to be moved or corrected as they show the wrong directions. Some intersections do not have signs at all. Hard to keep track of where you are going. I can't recommend this trail when there are so many good trails in the area, and what's worse is this is the only trail in the region you have to pay to use ($4). Unkept, bad signage, and pay to use? Three strikes you're out, for now.

Rode this with my daughter who is a beginner. Not too technical. She could easily bypass the few roller coaster sections. Still lots of sand to contend with. Good for locals but don't make it a destination if you need a challenge.

Great trail for anyone looking to get into MTB or brush up from the off season, but may be boring for more seasoned riders. Mostly gentle weaving trail with a couple small roller coaster sections on the Orange loop. Trail is still a little soft since it is new, but it will break in. The berms at the bottom of yellow are the perfect end to this trail. After you've warmed up, you can take these with or without speed as you like it. All the loops are very well marked.
