A: I-80 to Roseville. Atlantic/Eureka Road Exit depending on direction of travel. Go east to North Sunrise. Right on North Sunrise, then look for Miner's Ravine Bike Path sign on right side at entrance to UA Olympus Point theater. Drive west to back of lot and look for Miner's Ravine Bike Path sign and turn right on the paved path. When you enter the Miner's Ravine paved bike path, there are multiple access points on the north west side (left side if riding east) of the Miner's Ravine Bike path between the UA entrance and where the path goes under the North Sunrise underpass adjacent to the Holiday Inn Express on the corner of East Roseville Parkway and North Sunrise. Once you are off the paved bike path, follow the trail to the right behine the Holiday Inn Express
I don't know the rating system but this path has some very difficult parts for my ability level (I am a nooby). If this is a beginner path, then I have a lot to work on. HA!
The trail follows the Secret Ravine from Roseville up to Rocklin, and maybe further since I ran out time to ride the whole path. There are some narrow rocky spots and shallow water crossings.
The other parts I found challenging were the paths (the trail actually branches into multiple paths) that had very loose sandy soil.
There are several easy sections and some features someone built that are great for practice about 2 miles in from the trailhead.
Very pretty area, fun and challenging place to ride for me. I looking forward to my next ride there soon.
Thank |Got caught in the middle of a downpour. Trail was slick and just no fun. Will give it another shot when the terrain is dry. Has some pretty nice features that are fun. Couple creek crossings and some really cool alternative tracks that have been cut out. Some high berms, and jumps over tree roots.
Thank |No. It's not a novice trail. Some easy and some technical. Very fun faster switchback section. Tons of side trails. You can tell HS kids spent a lot of time there.
Thank |It is a very nice trail, with some easy obstacles and short climbs. I thourpughly enjoyed this short trail, and I has a nice open area in the middle with some berms and jumps.
Thank |There is a trail that leads off the paved trail in Roseville and leads into flate dirt single track all the way to Agular road in Rocklin. You can find the entrance to the dirt section of the trail where the indian grinding stone exhibit is. Follow the dirt path North and you will find yourself in a network of trails that takes you into Rocklin and follow the side of How 80.
Thank |Very mellow trail. Not really a "mountain" bike trail as there aren't any mountains just a few small hills. Good to get some cardio training in.
