Mountain Biking Hampstead

#11 of 114 mountain bike trails in New Hampshire

Awesome network of single track the seems like it goes on forever. Crosses over side roads and brings you to additional single track! Has some rocks and roots but not overly difficult to ride. Short burst climbs push you but rewards of single track trails make it worth every crank of the pedals.

This is a really great area for mountain biking! Great selection of trails ranging from easy to hard. It can be confusing at first, you tend to get that "I'm lost feeling". But once you get to know your way around it's fine. Not all of the trails are on the map. Also, the address listed on this app is incorrect, the parking lot is on West road, in Hampstead, NH. There are trails on both sides of the street.

Worth a trip great trails plenty of single track. Occasional areas of rocky, rooty but hey it's New England. Couple features to be had log rides drops etc. Crosses back and forth on small back country roads so easy to figure out where you are. The trail is also listed on NEMBAS website. Some trails are marked but they aren't the best ones to ride. I recommend starting on the side opposite the parking area on West Rd. and just ride. I rode 13 miles and left plenty more for next time.

Awesome! A buddy of mine kept telling me how much he liked this place, so we finally went over and did a 2 hr night ride; which was epic! The trail system loops around short hill climbs and makes you feel like you covering great distances but in reality, you are never that far out from your car. Needs a small amount of trail maintenance but nothing that would stop me from riding here. I mean come on, we live in New England, trails always need a little TLC. Get out it rip it up sometime-well worth exploring!
