Take I64 Exit 107 to merge onto US-250 East. Go for 1.7 miles and turn left at
VA-240. Go 1.4 miles and turn left at Railroad Ave. Go for 1 mile and veer right
at Mint Springs Road. Go .7 miles and turn left at Mint Springs Park. After the
entrance station, go to the back parking lot. The trailhead is at the back of the
parking lot.
There are a range of options, while most stick to the lower inside loops, try the Big Survey upper section. If you can ride that without a stop or at least a dab, you should turn pro. The layout of most of the trails is 50% up followed by the rest down which makes for good training but a bit less fun.
Great singletrack for the area. There were some really rocky steep climbs that I was unable to ride and had to hike a bike. Some fun fast downhill sections as well. I wouldn't take a beginner here. There were a few sections that really beat me up. Definitely made for a great challenge.
