Mountain Biking Wild Turkey Trail
#625 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
This is similar in terrain to the rest of Heil Valley—rocky. This trail is good for connecting Picture Rock to the other trails of the ranch, or for extending a ride that includes Wapiti and Ponderosa. Not the most interesting trail at Heil Valley, but a good one for increasing the distance of your ride.

This trail is accessible from the Picture Rock Trail, or from the southeast side of the Ponderosa Loop.
Not the best trail in the area, but good for turning a bunch of short-ish trails into a several-hour ride. The way down from Ponderosa is fun, and the trail isn't too technical, so it's a pretty relaxing break from the rockier parts of the trail system.
