Mountain Biking 12 Hours Of Disco Course
#124 of 319 mountain bike trails in Idaho
The Disco12 race course basically follows the outer trails in the Disco Trail
system in a clockwise manner. The race course is marked with small white
"Disco12" tags and arrows pointing the way.
From the Start/Finish the course will travel around the venue on the MX track
and then head out onto the Disco Trails where there it heads downhill. Just
before the bottom of the wash there is a hard right then left where the course
joins the Slump Gulch Loop. This gully crossing is probably the most technical
portion of the course. From here just follow the singletrack. The race course
leaves the main Disco Trails briefly on the "Sheriff Cutoff" and rejoins at
Trailmarker #8. From here just follow the blue arrows, then the orange arrows
back to the MX track to complete the loop.
If you ride the Disco12 course from the Disco Hill Trailhead add about 2.5 miles
to the total. When you get to Trailmarker #1 look for a sharp left hander soon
after and the white tags amrking the Race course.

The 12 Hours of Disco race course start/finish is at the Sacajawea Motorsports
Park. To get there take North St. Charles Street from downtown Salmon
(the street next to Haveman's Ace Hardware). The street heads north and then
up a hill where it turns to gravel. Continue until you see a cattleguard and take
a right following the road up steeply. You should go by Holcomb Field, a RC
Airplane runway, at the top of the hill. Continue on the main road over the hill,
the MX Park is at the bottom of the hill.
