Mountain Biking Soper's Mill
#51 of 96 mountain bike trails in Iowa
Some singletrack, some doubletrack, some prairie (avoidable though). The
trail follows the river so it has some sand in spots. A large bridge links the
two sides. The west side is fairly wide and smooth while the east side is
narrower and steeper. The trail has a shallow creek crossing also. I'm not
sure if it gets much deeper than a few inches.
Recommended route: Take your second right and head up the hill. Once you
hit the grass trail, head left and jump back into the woods. Keep right and
go down the stairs and head across the bridge. Complete that loop then
head back across the bridge and finish out the loop back to the trail head.
