Fun trail! I rode it in mid October 2020 and at that time the map they give out seemed accurate and the trails were well maintained and not overgrown. You can find flow here, but probably less so than at Kettle Moraine. There are 12 miles of singletrack now, 10 of which I rode, and my GPS reported that worked out to 1300ft of climbing. The trails have a recommended direction, are not crowded, and have wooden features sprinkled throughout. The 3mi red tail is a fun technical challenge, and the 1mi white tail follows a ridgeline with good scenery. Toward the end of the orange / yellow trail as you're heading back into the parking lot there's some sustained downhill where you can carry speed. And some small jumps. Definitely coming back next time I'm in the area.

These trails are close to where I live, so I had to check them out. I was pleasantly surprised. The trail system is pretty easy to figure out, although they have not yet updated the maps with some newly added sections. They have something for most riding levels and seem to be building new trails every year. I especially like that they don't stay closed very long after rain, which is why I opted for the yearly membership ($40). They also let me pay the daily fee my first time out ($10) and simply took that off the membership fee. //////////////////////////////////////////////
8/9/19 Edit: I had to knock a couple stars off my review after my past few times out here. Trails have been getting more and more overgrown throughout the season. Now to be fair, there was a recent storm that rolled through, so I will overlook the numerous downed trees and large limbs throughout the trail system but that storm did not cause the severe overgrowth on the trail system.
The overgrowth really took away from a trail system with SO MUCH potential. Having to stop to pick grass out of your drivetrain and getting constantly whipped on your legs and even in the face gets pretty old pretty quick. If this was a public trail and volunteer maintained I wouldn't be complaining, I would be out weed wacking but this is the most expensive trail system in the area at $10/day or $40/year. I don't plan on returning until the fall or if I hear conditions improve.
Now I don't like to complain about problems without offering solutions, so here is my pitch: Have a trail maintenance day once a month and offer free / reduced memberships for those who attend.
Thank |Awesome variety packed into one small plot of land. Everything from jumps and drops to steep, punchy climbs. To top it off, at the end you can have a post-ride snack while you watch zip liners race each other!
Thank |its a blast. these guys have carved out some really fun turns. like anywhere, it takes a while to piece together the perfect ride for the rider however tons of fun. I have ridden this regularly for years and its still a favorite. the people at lgct are as friendly as they come. beer mug trail is a definite must hit.
Thank |Have a huge variety. Intermedtied and expert are really fun, and some what challenging. Great flowy sections, along with hard packed climbs. Has everything you need. Only went there for around 3 hours, and only rode 4 trails, so they are long and fun
Thank |This trail system is fairly straight forward and not too difficult. There were a few down trees and one was blocking what could have been a fun section so that was disappointing. The climbs are very manageable and not to demanding, the downhills are nice and flowing and allow some decent speed. I only but the intermediate trail since I was riding with a first timer. The cost is ten dollars which I didn't mind paying to try a new trail. The only thing is that I would have expected a little bit better maintenance. The staff there is really friendly and helpful and I would go back just because of that, they went above and beyond what I would have expected. Overall the only thing I would change would be the maintenance to the trails.
Thank |Awesome runs! I will definitely be back!
Thank |Nice set of trails. Something for all levels. The expert loop is crazy. I really liked the intermediate loop best. Some obstacles and climbs.
Thank |Amazing Trails, Scenery, Atmosphere and Staff! Get out there Now!
Thank |Pros:
-multiple trails based on expertise
- the advanced trail has quite number of dips and really tests your skills and endurance
- friendly staff
Cons:
Thank |-5$ fee
-the more difficult only lasts for 1.5 mile
- the directions in the trail are not complete
This is a great trail with varying difficulties. The beginner loop is nice length with some hills thrown at you. The Intermediate loop is a lot of switchbacks with a constant climb. The Difficult trail/ Beer mug trail is something awesome. It has a great flow to it with some serious terrain and obstacles.
You do have to purchase a day pass or membership but it is well worth it. The staff is very nice too.
Thank |These trails pack a punch! The variety is great. The "Beer Mug" trail is a great run when you want to challenge yourself and have a blast, the climbs are great. The staff are super cool and helpful the parking is free and plentiful. I love that it is just a few miles from me!
Thank |these trails have something for everyone from recreational riders to the elite to the technical rider. they start out with a twisty section to a short climb . then the easy section heads out to the left with an awesome view over a grass and pine field above rt 12 . the more dif. trail welcomes you with a nice climb through the pines and into another steep off camber climb.the twisty trail through pines brings you to the most difficult trail called the beer mug .(sign) this downhill section has fuunn written all over it , but , it runs rite into the hangover trail (you will find out why) to a 180 switchback to downhill ladder bridge with a 6 inch drop to a rolly off camber section to the shark pit jump ...yes there is a pit behind the jump but you can ride right to miss the jump . then up up up to the white rim and down to the edge .
