Getting there
At the top of Lost Trail Pass on Highway 93 between Darby, Montana and Salmon, Idaho turn west into the Lost Trail Ski area road and drive about 1/4 mile to the ski area parking lot. On the south east side of the parking lot just below the buildings forest road 703 heads south and west up the mountain to the top of the ski area. Take this road to the top of the ski area to where it leaves the ski area boundary. Park here and ride road 703 northwest toward Saddle Mountain approximately 1.2 miles. Take the road that drops steeply down to a trail head and horse hitching rack approximately 300 feet. Turn right off the road and onto the singletrack trail at the horse hitching rack. Descend this nice singletrack trail to Overwich falls and beyond to Capri Lake. Return via the same route.
