Mountain Biking Kinns Road

#134 of 301 mountain bike trails in New York

More for people walking dogs than for bikes. Mostly doubletrack, some small but steep climbs/downhills. Don't think I saw one rock, very few roots. A place to stretch the legs if you're around, not somewhere to travel to. Good place for beginners to get comfortable.

For the sections that I rode. Uphills were either really short and steep, or long and kinda steep. Downhills were kinda okay to navigate but are pretty short. There is also another part of the trail that's not shown on the map at the trail entrance on Kinns Rd. on the South side.

I'm a bit bias because this was my first MTB trail system I ever rode, and the one that got me hooked. That being said, this is my second season mountain biking, and I still love Kinns Road Park. There's one hill on the far side from the main entrance that is definitely a good challenge. The red trails are also definitely not for beginners. Love these trails, and would highly recommend checking out if you're in the area.

I knew riding it today that it was more of a walking path than a MTB path, still disappointing. Its well maintained but the single track portions often lead to a dead end and there is a lot of uphill. If you have kids this would be a good place or are just starting out. Wouldn't recommend for those who have even a little experience.

Rode this today for the first time on my way home. The front area is really great for beginners. Wide open trails with very little difficulty. Be on the lookout for people walking their dogs though. There are some pretty technical, advanced portions towards the southside. Singletrack with some steep drops, jumps, a creek and bridge. Had a ton of fun but it is short course. Might head back tomorrow since we're looking at very few days left in October that are this nice!

It is literally a permit required dog park. Could be used for riding but better areas are around.

Nice little park but not to much technical riding. Great for begginers or just a casual bike ride.

It is a very good trail for beginner and people who lives in Clifton Park. Yes, most part has easy or slightly difficult double trail for both hiker and mountain biker. But for a beginner like me, I enjoy riding in this park. I live very close so I can go there whenever I want to. The southern part of this park is fairly difficult for me. It is single track trail with mud, bridge, very steep drop, obstacle on the track. I had lots of fun in this park.

Not good for anything but walking your dog
